Warranty and Guarantee Policy of Ampkart

Customer Care Details of Brands/ OEMs :

All Warranty and Guarantee are provided by the respective Manufacturer / OEMS. Ampkart is just a medium for facilitating this service between the client and the OEM.

Ampkart is not liable to pay any compensation for any damages resulting from loss of life, or damage to property or business due to any defective product.

What do we mean by Warranty?
By Warranty we mean, in case of any Significant Loss of Performance or Manufacturing Defect withing the specified period; The respective Manufacturer/ OEM or Ampkart (if not branded) will take all efforts to repair the product and return it to the customer.

What do we mean by Guarantee?
By Guarantee we mean, in case of any Significant Loss of Performance or Manufacturing Defect within the specified period; The respective Manufacturer/ OEM or Ampkart (if not branded) will take all efforts to repair the product, otherwise replace the product with a new one and return it to the customer.

How to Claim Warranty/ Guarantee?

For Branded Electrical Products:

You need to contact the respective OEM/Brand Manufacturer and claim your Warranty/Guarantee with our Invoice as proof.
You can find OEM contact details on back of the Electrical Product, or you can also use the Customer Care Contact Details of various OEM mentioned on this page above.

For Generic/ Non-Branded Electrical Products:

If you’re someone living in or visiting Kolkata often; you can just casually swing by our shop in Kolkata with the product and we will do the needful.
If you’re anyone else then you need to follow the following steps:

  1. Confirm with us on our Official Number and check if your product is eligible for Warranty/ Guarantee.
  2. Carefully wrap the product and send it to us through any courier service. Customer has to bear this courier fees.
  3. Write our Address as below: “Ampkart , Shop #258, 22, Rabindra Sarani, Gr. Floor, Kolkata-700073, West Bengal, India. Ph: 7439448917”
  4. Kindly mention your adrress and phone number as well for our reference.
  5. Write the Subject as Your Order ID and Warranty/ Guarantee.
  6. We will Inspect the product and send it to the respective OEMs to claim Warranty/ Guarantee.
  7. On receiving the repaired/ replaced product. We will courier it back to the Address mentioned on your parcel.

Eligibility and Liability for Guarantee/ Warranty

  1. The Guarantee/ Warranty is only applicable when the product are installed by the government license holder electrician; and not tampered in any manner.
  2. The Guarantee/Warranty states the entire liability. It does not extend to cover consequential loss or human loss or damage or installation cost arising from defective product.
  3. The Guarantee/ Warranty is not applicable for any loss arising due to wrong choice of products or wrong instalation.
